Fun Visit with Grandma & Grandpa

At China Town

We had a fun visit with Grandma and Grandpa Fast. On Thursday night we went to watch Ryan in his soft ball game, Then on Friday we went to Color me Mine and I had the kids paint their own tiles, Which turned out very cute. On Saturday, Grandma, Hudsen and I went off on an adventure, while Dad, Grandpa and Clarke stayed back to rest and watch basketball. We ended up in China Town and Alvera Street. It was so much fun. So many good memories. :) Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for coming to visit us. We love you.

Potty Training

Clarke (22 months old) has really been showing an interest in being Potty trained lately. Last night he told me he wanted to sit on his Potty chair and he went poop. Yay!!! We were so proud of him . Then about an hour after that he went pee. Hudsen and Clarke both got a sucker to celebrate. Today I took him to Target to pick out his first underwear and he picked Cars of course. He looks so darn cute in them and thinks he is such a big boy. We are so proud of our little guy. Let the potty training begin.

Primary Activity at the Temple

It is always fun to take the kids to the Temple. Other than it being cold, It was a great primary activity. The sister missionaries took the kids around and talked and answered their questions. Then we had lunch together. It was a fun day. :)

Griffith Park

We went to Griffith Park for the first time with Sherri, Caleb, and Jazelle and had a great time. We brought lunches and had a little picnic then went off to ride the horses. Clarke was so excited to ride but when I finally put him on one he got scared. So he just watched and petted them. Hudsen loved riding them. She rode the slow ones twice and then decided to give the Medium ones a try. The Medium speed ones are just Ponies that trot. She seemed to like it at first and on the final lap she got got scared but did very well for her first time. We also went on the little train ride. It was really nice and relaxing. Clarke loved it.

Thinking

Last Monday-

Mom- It's Monday, so we are going to have Family Home Evening tonight.

Hudsen- Can I be in charge?!

Mom- Sure, let me think of an easy lesson you can do.

About 5 seconds later-

Hudsen- Are you thinking in your head?

Mom- Yes (laughing :))

Hudsen- I do that sometimes too.

Feeding the Ducks

We went to Balboa Park with Maria, Avanti, Kennedy, Julie, Devun, and Brynne. It was so much fun. We ate lunch, then the kids played on the Play ground for a while. Maria had bought this huge bag of duck food and at the end we walked around the lake and fed the ducks. It was such a fun day. The kids really enjoyed it, Clarke even fed some ducks out of his hand.
