Out of the mouth of Hudsen

Hudsen continues to crack us up daily. She is the brain in our home and always asking us questions, wanting to learn new things. It seems within the last year we have been to several funerals. Grandma and Grandpa also had 2 bunnies pass away, so death has been alot on her mind. So yesterday on our car ride home this is what I hear out of the mouth of our Hudsen.

*** Mom, Granny is taking care of Karson's Bunny Huh?

*** I want me, you, Daddy and Clarke to fit in one of those dier things when we go back to live with Heavenly Father.

I thought these were too cute and hilarious so I had to share.

Painting Rocks

The last time we were at the beach Hudesn collected a ton of rocks and decided she wanted to paint them for her friends and family. She was so excited about it. She washed all of them and then laid them all out on a towel to dry then she was hard at work with the paint. She had so much fun and it was really fun for me to see her all excited about which ones she would give to certain people. I kind of lost track on who she had already given them to but if you didn't get one and want one let me know.

Mitch & Serretta's Wedding

We had such a wonderful time going to Vegas and being with the Fast family. We drove up Friday after noon, dropped Hudsen and Clarke off at grandma and grandpas house to be babysat by two very sweet and brave girls who watched 7 of the cousins. We then drove to a family dinner at Emerey's, which was awesome Italian food. We got to stay at Daniel and Aubri's house. We always have so much fun with them. We stayed up late every night, ate yummy food, watched the Olympics, and played Wii. Saturday morning we just relaxed, held and played with baby Emmett and got ready for Mitch and Serretta's big day. The sealing was amazing. Serretta looked so beautiful. I have never seen her so happy. It was very sweet the way Serretta and Mitch looked at each other. When we came out of the temple I was greeted by Hudsen who had gum all over her beautiful new dress (so tyipcal of her). The babysitters did a great job of getting most of it out. :) We then had pictures. Soon after was their reception, which was very beautiful and so much fun. The next day was Emmett's blessing (Aubri and Daniel's baby). He looked so cute in his little white outfit and Daniel gave him a very sweet blessing. We then went to Mom and Dads to eat with lots of family and friends to celebrate Emmett's big day. I just have to say Emmett is so cute and seriously the strongest baby I have ever seen. :) Our kids just love him to pieces. Later that evening we watched chior videos with Mr. Walker which was alot of fun to see. He cracks me up. The next day we went to Wal-Mart to get 2 new tires on our truck because the tread on them were so low and bad, then we went swimming at the Walker's and then started our long journey home. We were so lucky and were able to have Opa with us. We were driving him to Uncle Curt and Aunt Marcey's. It was such a fun trip until we stopped so Ryan could get a drink and Opa could stretch his legs. Our truck all of a sudden had no power and could barely run. Luckily we were in Victor Ville and my very sweet parents who live in Phelan, got out of their warm comfy beds and picked us up. Thank you so much Mom and Dad. You are life savers. It was kind of funny but fun spending the night at my Parents and having Opa there. :) So the next day we had our mechanic go check out our truck and it turns out it was our fuel pump. Once it was finally fixed we were on our way again, with Opa who was a real trooper. We love Opa so much, he really is such a sweet man and such a great example to us. I will never forget the alone time that we had with him on our long ride home. We sang songs and Hymms. Hudsen corrected him on some of his lyrics. :) Clarke learned how to say Opa and it was really sweet the way he looked at Opa when he was singing. He then told us stories of him, Oma and Granny that we had never heard before, which I will always hold dear in my heart. He lastly bore his testimony to us which was so powerful and strong. I couldn't help but cry because the spirit was so strong. This trip to Vegas was very tiring, expensive because of our car troubles and because Ryan had to take an extra day off of work but was so worth it. I wouldn't change it for anything. We were so glad and happy to be there with all our family, for Mitch and Serretta's Wedding, Emmett's Blessing and our special time with Opa. What wonderful memories we have had, but we are now home YEAH!!!
