We went to
Olvera Street one day, and It was seriously one of the funniest days ever. We took the Metro because we thought it would be fun and relaxing. The kids loved it!! We ate lunch at one of our favorite places
Phillipes (a place my Dad has taken us since I was little and Where his Dad took him). Dad and
Hudsen both dared each other to spell the
Spicey Horse
raddish sauce and both got it in their eyes. Ouch!! Then we walked around
Olvera Street and bought yummy Mexican Candy. My
Fav!! Clarke picked out a
spider man mask that he wanted and
Hudsen finally after lots of thought ended up with a little white cat. When we were done we walked to the Union
Station and started our way back home.
Except we came to find out, that the Metro wasn't stopping where we parked our car. They stopped at
Soledad station and said it was there last stop, and we were at the Via
Princessa Station. So after our fun long tiring day we started walking home, holding two tired kids for about a mile and a half until we made it to Fosters. The Kids and I stayed and got some Ice Cream while Ryan finished the rest of the way to go get our Truck. We laughed about it then and still laugh about it. It was a great day being together.
