Visiting Grandpa in the Hospital

Helping Momma at the book fair.  Later that afternoon I get a phone call from my Mom, telling me  that my Dad is in the hospital.  So we pack up and head down the hill to go be with him.  It was pretty scary.  We were all very worried about him.

My Dad was admitted to the hospital Monday early evening.  He went for a Dr. visit and they sent him straight to the hospital.  The didn't even let him drive there and the hospital is only a block away.  They had a nurse wheel him over in a wheel chair.  His body was retaining a lot of water making his heart have to work extra hard.  He also had fluid in his lungs which was making it so hard for him to sleep.  Every time he laid down he felt like he was drowning.  Today is now Easter Sunday, he has been there 7 nights already.  He is improving everyday!!!  We are hoping he will be able to come home very soon.  He is in good spirits.  Just by talking to him you wouldn't even think he was in a hospital.  That's my Dad always HAPPY!!!   I LOVE my Daddy so so sooooo much!!  I am so blessed to have him.  He is one of the greatest examples I have in my Life. I Love you Dad!!
