Christmas Eve... Last night with Griffin our Elf. He wrote the kids a letter. Dear Hudsen, Clarke & Allie, This is my last night with you. You have all been so good, I know Santa will come see you!! Clarke was making Allie crack up laughing. Hudesn said, "let me try." She tried and made her laugh, but not as hard. Clarke then says, "It's because she doesn't know you that well." :)

Hudsen swallowed a piece of paper. She later tells me, "Mom I have like a fuzzy feeling in my throat. It's either the piece of paper or the Holy Ghost." :)

At the young age of 6, our Hudsen was exposed to the word Sex. :( I decided I needed to have a very basic talk with her about it because I want her to learn about it from Ryan and I instead of friends at school or anyone else. We had a little Mommy and Daughter Date and had a very good/moderate conversation. She was very cute. When we came home she says to Ryan, "I know all about it." :)

The first words out of her mouth her Birthday morning were, "I feel taller." :) I cannot not believe I'm old enough to have a 7 year old. Where did all the time go? We had family over the night of her Birthday for Cake, Ice Cream, and Ginger bread houses. Good times!

This year for Hudsen's 7th Birthday we took her to Build a Bear. She LOVED it!! It was so fun to watch her. She was in Heaven. She picked everything out all by herself. She picked out her Bear, stuffed her, did the heart ceremony, gave her a bath, went to the dressing rooms and tried on a ton of clothes and shoes, Once she had decided on the perfect outfit she decided on the name Allison. :) Then got her Birth certificate printed. So cute!! Happy 7th Birthday Miss Hudsen!!! We all love you so much!!

Thanksgiving was wonderful. We hosted for the 1st time and it turned out puuuurty good. :) When I think about what I'm thankful for, Its hard for me to know where to begin. I am so very blessed and Love the life that I've been given. I'm thankful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm thankful for my savior and for his sacrifice for us. I'm thankful for the knowledge that I have, that families are forever. I'm Thankful for our Prophet President Thomas S. Monson and for his guidance in this crazy world. I'm thankful for my amazing parents. For their love and for raising me the best way they knew how. I'm thankful for my awesome in-laws, for accepting me and always making me feel so welcomed and loved, and for raising my Ryan. I'm thankful for my Brothers and Sisters and for all my family and for their examples to me. Im so very thankful for my sweet Husband and best friend Ryan. He really is my better half, I'm thankful that my parents were inspired to move to Phelan 12 years ago so I could meet him . I call him my comfort blanket. :) He always comforts me and makes life so easy and fun. He makes me laugh and smile everyday. I love him and I'm glad he picked me. I'm thankful for our 3 beautiful healthy children. They are the sweetest little things ever and raising them is truly an honor. They really light up my world. The thought of them makes my heart melt. Aww. I Love them. :) Life does has its trials but it all seems a little easier because of all these blessings. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

At our wards Trunk or Treat!! We invited our neighbors, and had so much fun. The kids were even brave and went in the haunted house. Clarke went twice!! (Cadee, Hudsen, Christian, Jose, and Clarke.)

Grumpy Ol Troll

We have this super grumpy neighbor, whom we have nick named The Grumpy Ol Troll. The other week the kids were playing baseball and hit a ball into his front yard. They went to get their ball and he started yelling at them saying if they came onto his yard again, he would call the cops. This really freaked Clarke out. He has been scared to go outside to play because he doesn't want to get rested, as he calls it. :) It was really sad. Clarkie is doing better though, he still gets a little nervous sometimes. Well anyways last night Ryan gave an awesome FHE lesson. It was about how we are all Heavenly Fathers children and he loves all of us. Ryan started naming a bunch of people and telling the kids that Heavenly Father and Jesus Love all of us. Even the Grumpy Ol Trolls name was brought up. :) Today, on our walk to pick Hudsen up from school Clarke says, "Mom, Jesus loves the Grumpy Ol Troll too huh?" :)

My Thoughts... Last night Clarke came into our room and hopped into bed with me because he was scared. I never want to forget how good it felt to hold him, or anyone of my kids in situations like these. I LOVE them all so much. They are growing up way too fast for me. It makes me feel good that they always come to me for comfort and to feel safe. It makes me think of my Mother and how much I Love her. And how she can always makes things better. I'm so very blessed and very thankful for the wonderful beautiful mother that I have.

* We didn't go to Ward Conference because, we were all a little stuffed up, and Little Miss Allie has a bad cough. At bath time Clarke tells me, "It's good we didn't go to church today because look." (He points to a bunch of fake tattoos on his arm). "They would probably call 911." :)

* Part of Clarke's prayer last night... Bless Dad to have Covedience. :)

* Tonight, Clarke was in charge of FHE. He did a great job!! He then asked if anyone would like to share their testimony. He went first and was so precious. Then Hudsen decided she wanted to share hers. Hudsen was so cute and precious as well. Hers was rather long. :) During hers Clarke leaned over to Dad and said, "Wow, That's a good testimony." :)

* We have this game we play with Clarke in the Truck, where every time we see an American flag we say, American Flag !!! and salute it. Well the other day we were driving. Clarke was sitting shot gun, and we were stopped at a light. Then Clarke tells me so excited, how he saluted a teenager in a car next to us and the teenager boy saluted him back. :) It was precious how excited he was. Love this little guy!!

We met him early in the morning to go for a spin, before Hudsen started her first day of 1st grade. It was so beautiful and so much fun. We all had a blast!! We flew over our house, Hudsen's school, a bunch of little lakes, Grandma and Grandpa Moore's house, Beautiful Big Bear, Lucerne Valley and back home. It was Allies and Clarke's first time flying. Brrrryan and Mel invited us to go to their Grandpas cabin with them. This vacation to Arizona was so much fun!! It started out with about 30 minutes into the drive Clarke saying his throat hurts and he ends up puking. Thankfully is was just the doughnuts he ate and he was fine for the rest of the trip. :) The weather was crazy!! It snowed and hailed on the drive once we got to beautiful Flagstaff. We were able to stop and visit with my niece Jenny and her cute family. They even came and hung out at the cabin a ton. We had a blast jumping rocks in the creek, playing in the water, watching movies, playing games, going on hikes and just relaxing and being together. It was funny cause Brrryan had told us to be careful on the steps and stairs. About 5 minutes later I ran down the stairs to hurry and get my camera and ended up falling down the stairs. Haha. I'm so dumb. :) We bought so much junk food and made delicious meals it was so fun! We even ate dinner one night in beautiful Sedona and went shopping there one afternoon. It was such a fun getaway for us, so many fun memories were made. Awww. I love my family.

Clarke and I were playing Doctor. Clarke- "Let me listen to your heart....Oh it sounds itchy."

Clarke asked me, "Mom who's cuter, Me or Allie?" I think all my kids are soo cute, but me thinking the smartest answer was saying, "You are cuter Clarke.'' Clarke- " aww mom, don't say that. That will hurt Allies feelings. Allies cuter." :)

Clarke- "Hudsen did you do your drawers (chores) ?"

Hudsen- "There is a new girl in my class named Lacy and she's allergic to black people."

We watched our Wedding video the other night. It's always fun for Ryan and I to watch it every so often. Well we watched it and the kids both Started Bawling. Hudsen was quiet but crying and Clarke was so loud. They only started crying at the part when Ryan was leaving, on and coming home from his mission. I think it reminded them of having to say goodbye to Uncle Evan. And They were worried Daddy would have to go again. It was really sweet and cute. We watched the video twice and they both were fine until Dads mission pictures came on. And they both got really emotional. I just love my kids they are so precious to me. They really miss their Uncle Evan.

Clarke is sitting in between Abby and Gwendalyn. They both say he is their boyfriend. :)

Clarke had two field trips on the same day, one at Stater Brothers and the other at McDonalds. They were so cool. I even loved them. :) At Staters they took them around to all the different departments and showed them all really cool things. Then we went to McDonald got a tour there, and let the kids eat and play. Clarke had a lot of fun.

My attempt at making bunny pancakes. :) The kids got to put what ever they wanted on them. These pictures were not the finished product. They looked so gross. They consisted of Gogurts, jelly beans, chocolate chips, gumballs, m&m's. They looked really gross but the kids loved them!!

We were woken up by the sounds of Hudsen and Clarke talking about what they had gotten in their baskets. The little stinkers went out and found their baskets with out even waking us up. We came home super late from Canyon Country the night before, (Ryan still plays softball with our old ward :)) so I was sad the kids didn't even have Pjs on for their picture with their baskets. After church we headed over to Grandma and Grandpas for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. It was a wonderful Easter day.

For some reason we took forever to work with Hudsen to ride her bike. So we finally decided that it was time, since she made it her spring break goal. :) Ryan helped her and she did great. It took her a couple more nights to get it all on her own but she got it.. I love this picture of my boys. Clarke just turned four and he looks like a baby here. I like it. He is growing up so fast, * So for a while we were commuting to Hudsen's school after we had moved, because we wanted to keep her there until spring break. About everyday before getting on there freeway we would see a homeless man with a sign, asking for food or money to help him. Every once in a while when we'd have food or spare change we could give, we would do so. So anyways one day, we were getting ready to leave the house to go pick up Hudsen from school and Clarke says to me, "Mom, I packed the Homeless man a snack. I know that he likes raisins." :) It was so precious. He melted my heart. He had thought about this man and grabbed him a packaged raisin danish all on his own. When we got to the spot. I thought It would be a good idea to have him give it to the man, since he thought of it. So I rolled down the window and the man walked up. Once he saw Clarke he had the biggest smile. Clarke gave him his snack and the man said, Thank you so much. God bless you son. Clarke just said, your welcome. :) It made me cry, That my little son had thought to do something so kind for a complete stranger who needed help. He is such an example to me. I will never forget that day.

This was Hudsen's last day of school at Mesquite Trails. I will really miss it. We both loved it!! They had great teachers/Staff and Hudsen had great friends. Mrs. Hoffman is seriously the greatest teacher ever. What she does with those kids is really amazing. I really admire her. It was a really fun day. Bryan Clay the reining Olympic decathlon Gold medalist came. Hudsen won an art contest for the whole kindergarten at her school and won a cool big art kit and got to shake Bryan Clays hand. She is the little one towards the right wearing a black sweater. I'm so mad, my camera wasn't charged so these are the only pictures I have of that day. It was a fun day, and so sad to say goodbye. One of Hudsen's friends (Tatiana) walked us to our car after school and cried. :( It was precious but sad. We look forward for the next Olympics to Cheer for Bryan Clay again!!

We went to Vegas for our 8 year Anniversary. It was such a fun quick trip. We basically just hung out and visited, swam and sat in the hot tub. I took Hudsen to go see the Justin Bieber Movie in 3D, the day it came out. We had so much fun!! This little boy just melts my heart. These pictures were taken right before we were getting ready to help in Hudsens class. They were coming back from lunch and he was getting ready putting on his hood and his hands in his pocket. :)

* Clarke- "Mom, why did you get married?" Me- "Because I love your Daddy." Clarke- "oh."

* We were coming home from San Diego and Clarke woke up from his sleep to tell me, "Your not an idiot Mom, your not." Me- (laughing) Why do you say that?" Clarke- "Because your not." And he went back to sleep.

* Me- Hey Buddy, what should we do today?" Clarke- "Lets bake cookies and watch Avatar!"

* Clarke was trying to help me wake up Hudsen to get ready for school. Clarke- "Hudsen wake up its time for school! Hey Mom, is Hudsen in college?" :)

* Clarke says Rhymes instead of match and it's hilarious so we say it too! He will always say things like, "Dad look my shirt rhymes my sweater", or "Hey, does this rhyme." He is very much like his older sister and cares about the way he looks. He likes to make sure his clothes are cool and rhyming. :) and his hair has to be a in a Mohawk, in spikes, have a hat or hood on. :)

Happy New Year to all!!! Just 2 days after the New year we got snow and of course we LOVED it!! I was so fun to see the kids out every day throwing snowballs, eating snow, making snow angels, a snowman, and sledding and tubing. Ryan was out there with them every second, he is such a good Daddy, I love watching him play with Hudsen and Clarke. They sure adore him, and think he is the greatest. Well Happy New Year!! I'm very excited for what this new year will bring. Especially for our little Allie Renee who should be here in 10 days!! This is going to be a great year, I am truly blessed.

Our Christmas partying with our family was so fun. It started off with Baby Jace's blessing. Which was so nice. He is the cutest little guy ever!! Then on Monday we had Grandma Joel and Dougpa's Annual Christmas party which was in Grandmas old furniture building. It was such a blast!! There was a ton of yummy food. And the kids played great together all day long. They rode bikes, scooters, got train rides, did crafts, got chased by Uncle Paul :) , and stayed busy all day. I was lazy and stayed in a chair most of the day wrapped in a blanket and just visiting. I was very much entertained watching everyone else run around and playing. It was hilarious to watch the adult boys play butts up. I think Ryan had the record for the most slip and falls for the day. :) After the party we headed to Alta Loma to check out the awesome Christmas lights. It was so fun. I loved hearing Hudsen and Clarke getting so excited for all the cool lights and Clarke kept saying, "That's a lot of work huh?" Then later that week we all went to Scott and Mandi's and hung out, played my new favorite game Funglish!! and the kids opened up their Christmas gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Fast. It was such a fun night. Then on Christmas eve, we had a Christmas party at Grandma and Grandpa Moore's house. It was so much fun playing crazy games and of course Grandmas delicious food is always amazing!! Then all the cousins opened up their Christmas gifts, sang a bunch of Christmas songs and got ready for Santa to come. Dad read Luke 2 and a Christmas book to us before bed and Grandpa also shared a wonderful Christmas story. It was a wonderful night. Thank you family for all the wonderful Christmas fun and memories!!

We cannot believe our little girl is already 6. She is growing up way too fast. Although it is all going too fast for me it has been so fun to see her learn and experience new things. Thanksgiving day was great spending the day with family.

I was in the dining room all by myself making something and clarke comes in and sits with me. Clarke- "Mom how come nobody is helping you?". Me- " Because nobody wants too (I say teasing)." Clarke- "Its okay Mom, I won't leave you.". Me- "Ahh, thanks buddy. Because you love me huh?". Clarke- "Yeah." About 10 seconds later he hears the TV and yells "Tom and Jerry!!!" And takes off running and leaves me all alone so he could watch his show. :)

So excited!!

Hudsen was so very excited to start school. Her first day was great!! I actually didn't even cry. Surprise surprise. :) I think it was because we got there just a little late because First day of school traffic was terrible!! By the time we got to her class room I gave her a hug and kiss and she went straight in. Her teacher Mrs. Thompson stopped me and asked me if I could help out for like 15 min. So I did, and knew Hudsen was comfortable and would by fine and in good hands.

After four days of being in Mrs. Thompson's half day kindergarten morning class, I receive a phone call saying they wanted to move Hudsen up to the all day K-1 class. Which is a class for the top achievers in Kindergarten, mixed in with a 1st graders. I was worried because she already had made good friends and loved Miss Thompson, and I was also worried that she wasn't ready for staying all day, but we knew we didn't want to hold her back. So the very next day, she moved into Mrs. Hoffman's class. Whom she now loves too. :) She really is an amazing teacher, who really pushes her students. The nice thing about the transition was that her best friend Gabby got moved up with her too. :)

We are so very proud of our Hudsen. Since school has started just a little over a month and a half ago. She has gotten 3 good notes sent home. 1 from Mrs. Hoffman and 2 from Principal Stewart. She was also chosen to be Student of the Day for her whole entire school a couple of weeks ago.

We love you Hudsen, and couldn't be prouder. Thank you for always being such a good girl. Love Mom and Dad.

We had such a good time in Vegas visiting family for the 4th of July. We swam everyday because it was so hot! We did so much this trip, it really went by too fast. We spent a lot of time with the Walkers, went swimming, barbecued, watched movies outside on the Walkers huge big screen that sets up outside, celebrated Moms birthday, ate Aubri and Daniel delicious homemade ice cream, watched UFC fights, went out for yummy breakfast and of course Fireworks!! It was such a fun trip. I LOVE the 4th of July in Vegas.

We had so much fun visiting my sister Leslie as always. We stayed so busy everyday. It really was so much fun. We stayed up till 1:30 almost every night playing Dr. Mario because I kept kicking her butt and she would get so mad. :) Fun Times!!!

Clarke and I were at Target and he started singing, making up his own song. My favorite part of his song was when he sang, "Jesus Christ doesn't glitter (litter)." :)

I took the kids to the movies after I picked up Hudsen from school. We were a little early so we were waiting in the Arcade room for a little bit. Hudsen came over by Clarke and I and was laughing because she tooted and it smelled. Clarke then punches her in the stomach and says, "You little jerk."

Hudsen wore her boots to school cause it was cold in the morning. After school, she wanted to switch them because it was now hot. I told her to look under her seat in the truck for her flip flops. Hudsen-- "Damn it, they are not in here." I asked her to repeat herself to be sure I heard her right. She did. I told her that was a very bad word, and not to say that anymore. She felt really bad. This is my sweet little girl that gets mad at Clarke for saying Beer or Coffee. :) She never says bad words. I really need to be careful what I say around my kiddos. :/

We had so much fun watching Hudsen and Clarke perform in their gymnastics show. They both did such a great job and we are so very proud of them.

Clarke was a little shy. Every time after he would finish a trick he would run back to Ryan and put his head in between his legs. :) He usually is such a ham and does really good, but there were a ton of people there and he wasn't used to it.

Hudsen did really well, and had so much fun performing in front of everyone with her friends. Coach Rhonda says she will soon be advanced to the older class. she can't wait!!

We took the kids Roller Skating for the first time. We all really had a good time. Hudsen really picked it up at the end and got pretty good. Clarke would rather play the video games or be pushed around in the stroller.

He melted my heart. :) About 2 minutes later he turns to me again and says, "I like you, You're chubby." :) He cracks me up. I love my little honest boy.

This conversation happened a couple of months ago. I wanted to record it because I thought it was hilarious. Clarke was in the bathroom going pee. He then says to me, "Look Mom no hands!! That's a lot a practice."

We were at gymnastics last week and Clarke had to go potty. So I took him. While he was going pee he noticed a hair (yes, the nasty kind) on the toilet seat. He points to it and says, "Someone littered."

We play a game in the car called I'm Thinking. Clarke- "Im thinking of somekeen that's green." Ryan- "My shirt." Clarke- "yep!! Daddy nailed it."

I LOVE Clarkes vocabulary! He uses pretty big words and knows for the most part the correct way to use them. One of his new words he uses lately is struggling. He & Ryan were off to go see the new Karate Kid, and Ryan had the window rolled down.
"Dad, I'm struggling with this wind."

Clarke was telling me about a worm he and Devun had caught and told me the worm was struggling. :)

Who's Lay-me-in again?

On Monday we had F.H.E. (family night). I was talking to the kids about some stories in the Book of Mormon, and mentioned Lamen and Lemual for a second. Hudsen then asks me, "Who's Lay-me-in again?" Clarke- "He's Vanessa's brother." :) Vanessa is my second cousin and Damien is her brother. He was a little confused. :)

Kickin the Dr.'s Butt

Hudsen got her shots and check-up to get ready for Kindergarten. Her check-up went great. She is 37.2 pounds. Dr. says her height is good but she is a little skinny. She was behind on her shots so she needed 5 shots and some blood work done. Poor little thing was screaming. She usually doesn't mind them but I guess 5 was too much. I felt so bad.

So later when Dad comes home from work Hudsen and Clarke tell him all about the appointment. And Clarke plans out with Ryan that they are going to kick the Dr.'s butt because he hurt Hudsens feelings and made her got blood. :)

We had to go back to the Dr.'s office a few days later and I talked to the nurses (the Dr. wasn't around). On our way out I asked Clarke, "what happened dude, I thought you were gonna kick the Dr.s butt?" Clarke- "He left, he was scared when he saw me get out of my car seat."

I can not believe another year has passed with our Clarke-E. It has been so much fun watching him grow. A little sad how fast time is going but still fun. He is not our little baby anymore. He still keeps us on our toes everyday but we wouldn't change it for anything we LOVE him to pieces!!! Happy Birthday Big Guy!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

Clarke on the Merry Go Round. He has liked to just sit on the bench instead of the horses lately. :) Hudsen excited to go on the Tea Cups. Clarke likes them but says they make him bizzy. :)
